The Nature of Reality

What is the nature of reality? Is this physical world as physical as it seems, are my perceptions real? Does this physical world really mean anything? These are all questions that I do not have an answer for. I am here in this physical existence in this physical body having an experience with the rest of humanity.

I do believe that I am here for some purpose. I don’t know the whole reason I am here, but I am hoping that after I have made my transition, I will understand all of this from a spiritual perspective. I believe no matter what the full purpose of my existence is, I am here to keep choosing love and forgiveness in every situation, in every moment, to the best of my ability. I also know that if I don’t choose love in the moment, I have the ability to forgive myself. Come to think of it, I do a lot of post-moment forgiving, especially after those trips to Walmart and after driving anywhere!

I have read several books lately, which conclude that spiritual power is the only power and the physical world is an illusion and is not important. I cannot confirm or deny any of these opinions. I personally believe that there is no separation between the physical and the spiritual, so everything is spiritual. The only answer that I have for myself is to keep choosing love and to forgive myself when I do not choose love. When I doubt the nature of reality, I just remember that I am a spiritual being (not a human doing) having a human experience. I have one simple job. To be the best me I can be and to love and to forgive.
